Hello everyone!

It’s Hayat Brahmer, your student life editor for the 2023-2024 school year! I hope the beginning of the school year is treating you well, you’re enjoying your classes, and making new friends. The end of the first quarter is this week. So, make sure to talk to your teacher about any problems with your grades and get all of your work in so you can end the first quarter on a good note! Keep up the hard work spartans!

Fall sports are coming to an end but don’t worry, there is still so much to look forward to this month! The school play, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, school breaks, and so much more is all happening this month! You’re going to want to keep up with Sword and Shield postings in order to get advice and information on exciting events that are coming up. This week we will have a wide range of stories from gift and Black Friday shopping advice, reviews on movies, celebrity relationships, great student interviews, and ways to get into the fall spirit! Of course, make sure to check out the student life section to get important information/reminders and sometimes for a funny read ;).

Whatever your reading preference is, make sure to check in because we have a lot to say this month!
