Like many students at Memorial, Bubbl’rs are a staple in my diet. I love starting my morning with a fun drink, and trying new flavors is always fun. Since I’ve tried most of the available Bubbl’r flavors, here’s my ranking from worst to best!

9. Pitaya Berry Nect’r

This flavor sounded super good, but for some reason it left me feeling somewhat nauseous… I’m not sure why, but some part of the dragonfruit or berry flavor was artificial and didn’t sit right with me.

8. Tropical Dream’r

I know this flavor is pretty popular, but I just didn’t like the artificial pineapple and coconut flavor. I actually love pineapple-flavored things, but whatever flavoring they used wasn’t good in my opinion.

7. Blood Orange Mango Mingl’r

Again, I loved the sound of this flavor since I mango is one of my favorite fruits, but the mango and orange flavors were very artificial to me. 

6. Orange Dream Freez’r

I’m not a fan of creamy vanilla flavors with fruity drinks, so it wasn’t my favorite. However, this was a nice departure from Bubbl’r’s usual fruity flavors, with a mix of orange and vanilla. 

5. Peach Raspberry Dazzl’r

I was really excited to try this flavor, but it was too sweet and artificial for me. The raspberry was overpowered by the peach flavor, which wasn’t that bad, but didn’t have that delicious fresh peach flavor.

4. Watermelon Lime Smash’r

This was a fun flavor for the summertime! I usually hate the flavor of watermelon candy, but the watermelon flavor in this drink wasn’t too artificial or sweet. However, I wish the lime came through a little stronger.

3. Pomegranate Acai Refres’r

I was surprised at how much I liked this flavor—pomegranate is a hard flavor to nail, and although I can’t say this tastes super similar to pomegranate or acai, it has a berry flavor that’s a little less sweet and more tangy than the triple berry flavor. 

2. Triple Berry Breez’r

Blue raspberry is my favorite candy flavor, and this Bubbl’r is definitely reminiscent of that. It has a good berry flavor and is on the sweeter side, but not sickly sweet. 

1. Twisted Elix’r

Last but not least, I think Twisted Elix’r is the best flavor Bubbl’r has to offer. It may be basic, but it has the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and I love a good pink flavor. It was also the first flavor I ever tried as a kid, so there’s an element of nostalgia that makes me stay loyal.

Taste is subjective, but I hope this ranking can be put to use for the next time you’re looking for an energy drink at the grocery store. There are a few flavors I have yet to try, but my go-tos are always twisted elix’r, triple berry breez’r, and pomegranate acai refres’r. I’m looking forward to new flavor releases, and I hope Bubbl’r improves the recipes for the flavors that were too artificial for me.
