Make This Summer Count!

Get excited because Summer is almost here! That means more time to see your friends, family, and enjoy no school! It is important to spend this time destress and do things you enjoy. It is also a great time for a summer job,internship, or a camp! There are many opportunities with different levels of commitment. There is a lot of time in the summer so it’s not a bad idea to use some of that time to make some money or get some experience! There are many opportunities to explore different interests. These opportunities look good on a future college or job application.

Hayat Brahmer is a senior at VPM and has been part of the Sword and Shield for the past two years. As Student Life Editor, Hayat enjoys finding more information about our school and our school events, as well as, giving advice and tips on how to do well in school. Outside of the Sword and Shield, she likes to spend time with her friends and family and enjoys playing tennis.
