What Does Snow Mean For Parking?

What+Does+Snow+Mean+For+Parking%3F

Parking problems continue and will worsen with the upcoming snow. As we know by now, seniors are given parking passes right away and juniors are entered in a lottery to get parking passes. People without passes parking in the lot will be ticketed and people with fake parking passes will be prevented from purchasing a pass in the future. Even with these rules, many people still park in the lot with a fake pass or no pass at all. However,as winter comes and snow and ice come with it, parking in the lot is going to be more and more problematic. Snow takes up many sports and with ice people slide around in the lot making it prone to people crashing into each other. It is important that once the cold weather comes, people are extra cautious about their driving in the school lot. As well it is extra important that people with passes are the only ones parking in the lot because there will be even less sports once s[pots are covered by snow.

For those who park on the street and walk it is also very important that on the cold days you make sure to bundle up and don’t get too cold while walking to and from school. This time of year is a great time to consider carpooling or drop off. As the temperature gets colder remember to enjoy the fun things that come along with it but also be careful while on the roads. Stay safe spartans and try to enjoy the upcoming change in weather!
