Get Ready To Get Stuffed!

Get Ready To Get Stuffed!

As November rolls around, we can confidently say we’re deep into the fall season. We’re past Halloween, costumes, monsters, and spooky scary ghosts far behind us now, ready to come back and haunt us again next year. Avid Christmas fans are probably already bumping Mariah Carey but for the rest of us, or anyone who doesn’t celebrate Christmas, November is a period of transition. Turkeys come out and traipse across our neighbor’s lawns. Withering trees clutch at their last few leaves. Children jump into piles of red, yellow, orange, and gold. Temperatures drop, and some years, we might even get an unexpected flurry.

Thanksgiving, the United States November trademark, marks the end of that transitional period. Families reconnect. Friends share joyful memories. Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce line tables as food enthusiasts drool just thinking about the feast that awaits.

To help out some of those food enthusiasts, here are some quality Thanksgiving recipes. Some are new versions of classic flavors while others bring a promising fresh twist to the yearly feasting.

Get ready to get stuffed!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie – This classic recipe uses a premade crust to speed up the process and make everything a little easier.

Apple Stuffing – A fresh version of a classic (literally). Adds a burst of flavor to traditional stuffing.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes – 10000x better than regular mashed potatoes.

Candied Yams – Marshmallows on yams or sweet potatoes? Try it out!

Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts – A beautiful way to make vegetables.

Cornbread Stuffing – Sweet and savory.

Homemade Mac n’ Cheese – Baked, too. Makes for the perfect side dish.

Creamy Corn Casserole – If there aren’t enough casserole dishes on the table…

Pecan Pie Cookies – a combo of two desserts!
