Hi everyone! I’m Henry Riley, and I’m both the News Editor and Co-Sports Editor along with PJ here at Sword & Shield for this year. I hope you’ve had a relaxing fall break and are recharged for a few weeks back at school! Don’t worry, winter break is closer than you think! Although we have no days off until it starts, break begins on December 23rd, and we return to school on Monday, January 6th, 2025. 

We have lots of great articles for you this month, including information on nuclear energy, breaking down the results of the recent election, and covering football at both the high school and professional levels. There are also great opinion pieces about chatbot therapy and yes, even Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Our student life contributors have some amazing clubs to tell you about, and helpful information on winter break and exam season. Finally, our Arts & Entertainment section features Gladiator 2, Arcane, and a very feline video game.
