Are you mentally unwell and wonder why life sucks right now? Are you thinking of taking ChatBot therapy? Well, in my opinion, don’t do it. Out of the risk, don’t do it! That’s like saying I hate myself more.
During vulnerable moments in your mental health, AI could mess up your mind more. There are multiple reasons why AI shouldn’t be your therapy, as it messes up how you think of your position in life.
Have you ever wondered why school and family always encourage you to share your emotions and make friends with people from a young age? It’s for you to be more social and have emotional support; it means that you have to go outside more and touch some grass. When you have someone who supports who you want to be; your life will feel better.
Some people have traumatic experiences from making friends. Jerks can cause real emotional pain, but it’s important to remember that all people are built differently and you’ll soon find someone who won’t make you feel uncomfortable or betrayed, but instead feel comfort from them.Try getting some friends by joining multiple practices, speaking up, or through your profession.

Psychological research suggests that stable, healthy friendships are crucial for our well-being and longevity.”
Additionally, remember to consider that AI is still being developed based on multiple discoveries by humans, but it isn’t the best at understanding Human Emotions.
From an evolutionary perspective, AI may be the most powerful invention and weapon to be created by humans because of its unique intelligence. But there are cons to AI that are important to consider in the context of ChatBot usage. Amazing research from Harvard Business Review(credit: Mark Purdy, John Zealley, and Omaro Maseli )showed a study about AI and they said “AI is often also not sophisticated enough to understand cultural differences in expressing and reading emotions, making it harder to draw accurate conclusions. ” To simplify this, AI doesn’t have the self-consciousness nor self-awareness to be able to understand it. AI usually uses collective data, but humans express a variety of emotions. Scientists are still attempting to understand many fundamental aspects of human minds. I recommend everyone to not use AI for any mental health, which is why you should go to an actual professional therapist, or if you are a student, talk to a counselor, or take time to talk with your parent about this.
Why would you need to get a physical therapist to talk about your emotions and not AI? Listen here fella, what do you know the meaning of the word professional? Well, people are being called professional meaning they have spent years and dedication to master a topic. Therapy has been a profession to learn how to help a problematic brain, and they study psychology to help people’s health. Therapy is great and they will give some professional advice that can really help those who struggle with their mental health. Therapy takes time to provide you with advice and a path to help you with some of your issues. Therapists are human and they have self-awareness and self consciousness about understanding your mental health. Additionally, if you are too scared about getting therapy then I will remind you that they’re nice enough to go to a school about to learn your emotions. Another point, they are a listener, you can yap about heavy problems. Besides, you have a variety of ways to talk to therapists.

- This is depending on you if you aren’t comfortable going to someone else’s place and you want to talk physically. Ask your therapist if they are fine with coming to your place and talking about your problem.
There are always a variety of options to talk to a therapist, but a reminder of talking to a therapist is to listen to their actual advice and acceptance. Acceptance is important because you are taking an actual small step to become a person who is happy with who you are.
It’s understandable if someone can’t go to therapy because of financial issues. If it’s the main obstacle, then I recommend you to talk to someone who will lead you to a great therapist or talk to your family about this problematic issue. Or call 988 to be good at reaching out. Don’t ever feel burdened by sharing your emotions.
Sometimes, you don’t feel like yourself, or just don’t know how to express to the public who you are. Well, express yourself in art, because art is also a great way to express yourself in other people’s perspectives. It also can show you how you see the world. Art can be expressive with color, terrifying, a continuing chapter to learn, and provides enjoyment.
There are multiple ways to express yourself with art like journaling, painting, drawing, and collecting. This is why people take time to make each of these forms of art because they’re trying to express their vision of an object.
If you want to find inspiration for terrifying art, then Junji Ito is the guy who could inspire you. Or Hayao Miyazaki who took time to admire the moment, but who is cursed with his success and pain.
If you aren’t an art person, but just wanna do something, I would recommend going outside. Seriously, walking outside can help you free your mind and relax for a bit, and drinking water helps too. Or you can take a deep breath. Even try cleaning your room to freshen up your mind around your environment. As well as exercising, because it can help you feel better and even look physically better. Listening to music even helps you as well (Depending on your music taste).
You need to open wide to know that AI isn’t prepared enough or even programmed to understand your chaotic mindscape. Don’t even feel shy from interacting with other people because we are all stuck in a rock, and we are all socially awkward. Even try expressing yourself in the coolest and weirdest way, but try not to do murder, arson,…etc. Everyone should try to express themselves as the person they desire to be and don’t think about what others think about them, just follow the basics (Don’t be mean, or racist to other people, respect people for their personal space)
Go outside and touch a plant like a thing called a tree. Be more social as well. Just don’t use a ChatBot for therapy.
