2024 Homecoming Schedule + Spirit Week Themes!

Though it feels like we’ve only just started the school year, Homecoming is already just around the corner, landing on Saturday, September 28th this year. As usual, the Homecoming dance will be taking place in the gymnasium here at Memorial from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, and as usual, it will be preceded by a week of festive themes, crafted this year by our Student Council here at VPM! Here are the themes for this year’s Spirit Week:

9/23: Monochromatic Monday (Freshmen wear Red, Sophomores wear Yellow, Juniors wear Blue, and Seniors wear Green!)

9/24: Adam Sandler

9/25: Jersey Day (Sports jerseys or Jersey Shore: take your pick!)

9/26: Surfers vs. Bikers (Once again, take your pick! Just don’t get into any Disney Channel musical-esque dance fights with people of the opposite theme)

9/27: Spartan Spirit

Additionally, unlike in past years, the Homecoming football game (VPM vs. East) is being held on Saturday, September 28th at 11 am rather than Friday at 7 pm. No matter what, make sure to show up and support the VPM football team!

As Editor in Chief, Max leads the planning and creation of the monthly issues and writes pieces analyzing topics he finds interesting. When not in school, Max loves movies, both watching and making them, playing games, and hanging out with friends.
