5 Reasons Why Autumn is the Best Season

5 Reasons Why Autumn is the Best Season

It’s finally here! Cardigans, leggings, boots, beanie hats, pumpkins, apples, and the season that ironically feels warmer than summer. Autumn! Here are some of my top reasons why this is the best season of the year.

  1. Seasonal Autumn Coffee Drinks

In my opinion, apple and pumpkin flavored drinks are the best of the entire year. Starbucks has a great selection during the fall – pumpkin spice latte, apple crisp macchiato, and pumpkin chai latte are among my favorite autumn drinks.

  1. Pumpkin Farms and Apple Picking

Who doesn’t love fresh apples and home-grown pumpkins? Farms such as Epelgarden and Appleberry Farm are well-known for their fall festivities and family events! If you’ve got the chance this fall, stop by an apple or pumpkin farm to fully embrace the autumn air this season!

  1. Decorations

Holiday season starts with fall! Celebrations of all cultures occur during this time of year, and no matter what you celebrate, it’s bound to be in full swing with decorations around and inside homes!

  1. Aesthetic Social Media

Don’t you ever feel like sitting under a tree while yellow leaves rain down, headphones in with guitar indie music issuing from its speakers into your ears, coffee by your side, book in your hands that are half-covered by the sleeves of your brown or cream colored sweater? Is this image what shows up in every “autumn girl vibes” Instagram reel? Well, you’ve got to admit that although cliché, there really are days that you feel like partaking in the trends.

  1. The Music

September by Earth, Wind, and Fire (once covered by Taylor Swift; you should listen to it.). Autumn Leaves by Ed Sheeran. We Fell in Love in October by girl in red. Red (Taylor’s Version), which my favorites include Run, All Too Well, I Bet You Think About Me, and the rest of the album. Not to mention, evermore is also a fall album. And Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) also has some autumn-ish songs, like Mine, Story of Us, and Dear John. So if you are walking down a winded street clad with red and orange leaves, again with the sweater, and you don’t know what to listen to through your headphones, those are some (pretty lackluster but still great quality) suggestions.
