If you haven’t noticed Vel Phillips Memorial is under construction. This construction has caused many parking problems. The school lost 100 student spots and about 14 visitor parking spots. The construction workers have been working hard and the visitor parking should be back to us in February. The 100 spots we lost are on the western edge of the student parking lot where Findrof and all of the subcontractors have their trailers and equipment. These spots will not be available again until summer of 2024. That is also when all the construction will be done. Right now there is a waiting list of over 100 Juniors, trying to get a parking spot.
