May feels like a long while away, but it’s already time to start registering for AP exams! The deadline to register and submit the $40 payment without penalty fees per exam is October 19, and for those who submit the payment by then, you will have until October 29 to apply your Exam Join Code on MyAp and activate your exam. Finally, once you’ve completed both of these steps, the deadline to submit the full balance, $125 per exam, is February 22, 2026.
Applications for accommodations are due on January 16, 2026, and if you wish to cancel your exam registration, the deadline to cancel and still receive a partial refund is April 1, 2026.
