Steves Lava Chicken is an amazing song! Jack Black has once again struck it out of the park with the Minecraft Movie and you can really tell he had fun with it. The highlight of the movie for me was definitely the Steves Lava Chicken song. The song is catchy, witty, and super funny. Some quick lyrical analysis reveals this song to its true nature. “Ooooo MamaCita now you’re ringing the bell”, is followed by the end of the song with a “Lavaaaaaaa!”. Both of these highlight the vocal range of Jack Black and how proficient he has grown over the years. 

Jack’s song Peaches from the Mario movie is really what started this and you can tell that Steve’s Lava Chicken is an improvement of his lyrical mastery that he has with music. Other great lyrics that set the song apart is the creative application of chicken descriptors which create a great visualization aid for the listener of what this chicken really is. Truly I think this chicken is the best chicken in the world and that someone should capitalize on this wonderful opportunity. All in all Steves Lava Chicken is an amazing song that rightly earns my song of the year.
