Hey everyone! It’s Monika Jeraj and Alexandra Saffman, your Arts and Entertainment Editors for this year. We’re back and so ready for spring – it seems Punxsutawney Phil was right this year, despite his 60% miss rate. Get outside and breathe in some fresh spring air! We’re now well into the second semester, and we hope everyone is keeping up with everything they have to do. Juniors, get ready for the ACT!!! And trust us, don’t worry about it too much.

As with every other month, Sword and Shield has got you covered. As the last winter sports wrap up and the first spring sports begin, we continue to keep track (no pun intended) of all the big sports news – articles about soccer and track are on their way in the coming months! Of course, we’re covering other important sports stuff this month so make sure to check out our article on the Super Bowl. And speaking of big news at the Super Bowl, don’t miss the article on Taylor Swift’s influence!
