Asher Willis is an aspiring student leader at VPM, he helped manage during the cross country season and is now running in track and field. I am also in these sports but Asher is also in every club I’m in! From Sword and Shield to Spartan News to STEM club he is consistently there every time. Maybe this is a testament to his dedication as he is never not there, but it is a bit strange that he is always there. Asher is also a goofy kid; he is constantly having fun and messing around, which does enhance the club experience with a freshman who just plays around the whole time. 

Regardless of this I still have one question, Why is he in all my clubs? Is it because other people in the sports he does are in those clubs? Does he have any friends outside of those clubs? Where does he eat when those clubs don’t meet? All of these questions and more perplex me everyday as he wanders in and out of my clubs. 

But they may never be answered as when pressed about this he just goes “I don’t know man” and giggles away. We don’t know where he goes and I am pretty sure he knows how to get around the school in more dubious ways than walking, like the vents. But Asher is a great kid and a dedicated learner showing up everyday, even if I don’t really know why.
