Aspiring creator, millionaire philanthropist, insane content creator and everything in between can all be used to describe Mr. Beast, but not president. Mr. Beast has been making videos for youtube for about a couple of years now and has built up probably the largest fan base on the platform. He has tons of money and freely gives it out to people. This combined with his already previously based statements on wanting more governmental action in the community can be interpreted as a possible run for president.
But does Mr. Beast have everything he needs to run for president in 2032? Well for one he is young and this already will be a great draw with many people especially younger voters around the nation. Second, most of his fan base will be able to vote by 2032 giving him a huge portion of the younger ballot as he could also use his massive internet fame as a platform for his candidacy. Also his massive philanthropy projects and pro climate stances will resonate strongly with global politics and national politics more dominated by these issues.
Mr. Beast’s main challenge will be the two party system. No one has ever broken the two party system in American history and the closest was Teddy Roosevelt with his progressive party in 1912. Mr Beast will certainly have his work cut out for him as the deeply entrenched republican and democrat parties have the country in their grasps. One way I see him breaking this is through the younger vote. I think that the later Mr Beast waits to run the better his chances are as more of his audience become eligible to vote and the older people leave the voting system through natural causes.
In conclusion Mr. Beast does have a fair shot at the Oval Office, but it will take a lot of dedication from him and probably committing to it now to secure it. But at the end of the line it’s going to be down to the American people if we want to finally break the two party system and put someone into office who will be drastically different from anyone else in American history.
