Editor’s Note: Hello from Your Arts & Entertainment Editors!

Hi everyone!
To introduce ourselves: we’re Ava and Alexandra, and we’re your Arts & Entertainment editors for VPM’s Sword & Shield this year! We’ve all officially made it through one month of school, and although it has for sure had its ups and downs (the new bathrooms are wonderful, but the carpets are debatable), we feel proud of ourselves. We’ve accomplished the first big step, and we only have seven more months to go! As we head into October, we feel more comfortable with the new parts of the building, new people in the building, new teachers, new classes, etc, and we are beginning to truly excel. Well, at least that’s the idea. Regardless, we want you to know that the Sword and Shield is making its way full speed ahead, delivering fantastic articles to you every month. This October we’re featuring articles from “Judging You Based on Your Fall Drinks” to the value of “AI in Art”. We hope you continue to enjoy our new online format and stay updated on a variety of arts events around the area, current news, and opportunities within our school. Have an awesome October Spartans!
