Red Bull is nothing if not consistent this season. LIam Lawson after only two Grand Prix’s has been demoted to Alpha Tauri Red Bulls second team and Yuki Tsunoda has taken his place. This came after a surprising crash race from Liam and a series of bad qualifying and events which put Redbull in a hard position regarding the rookie driver. He clearly had not proven himself to handle the car when tuned with Max’s (his teammate) standards. So he has been replaced.
This cutthroat Red Bull society has once again dominated another rookie driver and Yuki gets a second chance to prove himself on the big stage. So far this has proven good for Redbull Yuki has finished all his races and scored points in all but one. So far this has confirmed his position on the main racing team and possibly future years. He seems to be handling the car that Max enjoys well and hopefully we can expect a podium experience from him in the coming races. While Red Bull has done well this year speculations have been made about whether the car can bring the team to another championship. They have struggled to match McClarens speed and will most likely need improvements or the right conditions to win a race. However all eyes are now on Yuki to see what he can do this year and whether or not next year will be Mx and Yuki.
