Spring is here! Spartans, the time has finally arrived for warm sun, blistering wind, and the occasional snow storm all within two weeks! With this comes long track meets, exciting baseball games, and tennis tournament drama. At VPM we have a wealth of spring sport opportunities. Although most already have full teams don’t hesitate to sign up next year for some great memories. Some of the highlights this season have been our girls softball team. They have had a great couple of games and really made a strong start to the season!

In other sports news our girls soccer team has felt the loss of their massive senior class but are rebuilding strong with lots of rising underclassmen! Our boys track team has faced similar issues with a smaller size this year but still have shown up strong with exceptional performances from athletes such as Nick Zeitlow and Jordan Elliot. The girls track team has thrived with a strong senior class and new 100 meter dash record holder Marley Mcintyre leading the way. Boys tennis and baseball have had strong opening seasons with lots of great talent. 

 Its great weather and the year is almost over, so remember to get out there and support our Spartans!
