The NFL playoffs have started! It is that time once again fans, and your team either is looking to go far or planning for next year in hopes to make it. In the NFC, the Lions were looking to take it all, only to be stumped by a tremendous performance from the Commanders. The game was a high scoring frenzy with the Lions turning over the ball 5 times! The Commanders only made it by upsetting the Buccaneers in a close frenzy to get the chance to take on the Lions. The other side of the NFC was full of spectacles as the Rams destroyed the vikings and the eagles beat the Packers as expected. This led to the unexpected Eagles, Rams game where the Eagles easily came out on top. All of this NFC madness has led to a Commander’s Eagles NFC Championship that will put either a 3th or 5th seed team in the Super Bowl, something no one thought would happen. 

The AFC was a little more par for the course with the Bills beating the Broncos, Ravens beating the Steelers and the Texans taking down the chargers. The second round had a great Bills Ravens game where the Bills came out on top and the Texans were beat by the Chiefs as expected. Which led to the eventual Chiefs Bills AFC championship game.

The NFC Championship was a blowout from the Eagles as the commanders struggled to stop a strong rush game the Eagles tied the NFL playoff record with 55 points. The AFC championship however was much closer coming down right up until the last five minutes of the game where the chiefs scored a field goal and were able to force the Bills to hand over on downs securing themselves a third win against the Bills in the AFC championship and locking in their ticket to the Super Bowl.

While many people did not want the Chiefs or the Eagles in the Superbowl it has happened once again and will likely still be the most watched event of the year as the chiefs look to take their third win in a row. Although this year a strong group of dissenters may be joining to boycott the event due to the rematch between the two powerhouse teams.
