     It’s Vince Kim, your Sports Editor for the 2023-24 school year! I’d like to welcome back all the sophomores and upperclassmen, and as for the freshman class, get ready for your 4-year high school experience! With the start of the semester, make sure you all have your back-to-school things ready. Make the best use of your time by meeting some amazing people in your classes and clubs, build good study habits to stay on top of your work, and always work hard, play hard.      While you all were busy with your summer activities and trips, lots of stuff was making headlines. While Barbie and Oppenheimer took audiences by storm throughout July and August, investigations open on the exact causes of the Maui wildfires that have left 115 dead as of August 28. On the day the 1st GOP debate kicked off, Donald Trump made a visit to the Atlanta jail for a long-awaited picture day… Growing concerns over AI art are also circulating the internet. Of course, make sure to check out the Sports section updates, especially the recent collapse of the PAC-12 conference and an exclusive interview with girls tennis co-captain Sophia Jiang!
